Seventeen Feet of Holiday Cheer

At this time of year, it’s important to remember that it’s not all about business and websites (well, not entirely, anyway). Keith Paul, owner of Electric Bricks, belongs to several Chambers of Commence on Long Island and currently sits on the Board of Directors of two – Moriches and Mastic-Shirley. And as anyone who’s on a Chamber can tell you, membership is not just about business, it’s also about giving back to the community.

Thank You for Your Service

Without the service and sacrifices of all our veterans and active duty personnel, we could not live the lives that we so often take for granted. Thank you.

And a happy 241st birthday to the U.S. Marines.

Happy Holidays & Some Changes for 2016

Happy Holidays!

2015 was another busy year for Electric Bricks. And I have all of my clients, old and new, to thank for it! I hope you and all those you care about have a wonderful holiday season! We have a few changes for the new year you should be aware of.

This One’s A Wrap

To all my friends, clients and colleagues.

Whoa. That’s all I can say. What a year. Hands down the busiest year Electric Bricks has seen. Ever. New projects. New clients. New partnerships. It was a year of seemingly non-stop action and lots of interesting and exciting opportunities. And many of those opportunities will be explored much deeper in the coming year. As always, I’ll try to keep you all abreast of what’s happening here on the EB blog. But for now, I’d just like to say thank you. Thanks to all my new and long-time New York City and Long Island customers, and thanks to my new Westchester customers. Thanks for giving me the opportunities and for trusting your websites to me. I hope I’ve served you all well during the past year and I hope you’ll allow me to continue to serve you in the year to come and beyond.

WordPress 4.1 “Dinah” Getting Rolled Out

I am in the process of testing and installing the latest version of WordPress, named “Dinah” in honor of jazz singer Dinah Washington. Probably the most significant feature in version 4.1 would be the new “distraction-free” writing mode that hides the dashboard as you write to allow you to focus totally on your work. Simply moving your mouse outside of the editor brings back the normal interface.
