- What are the important takeaways you want to communicate? Have you recently come up with a new mission statement or have recent accomplishments that you want to share with the visitors to your site?
- Select someone on your team to be responsible for any updates that might be needed moving forward.. Without a dedicated person consistently reviewing the site content, it’s easy for time to go by and the featured information could become less current or relevant to your business.
External
- Take a close look at your competitors website and social media platforms to see what they are doing successfully to attract customers as you may consider adding some of those features to your site.
- Ask friends or the vendors you work with to take a look at your existing site and see what they think is missing or items they feel would improve the viability of your site. It never hurts to have an “outside” eye take a look, since at this point you may be too ingrained with your own site to see what is missing or improvements that could be made.
