Gimenez Guitars – A New Project. A New Endeavor.

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This has been an especially busy year for Electric Bricks. Many new clients and many new projects for existing clients. But there’s one project that I haven’t mentioned yet. It’s one that’s been in the works for… well… years. A few years back a long-time friend of mine, Dan Gimenez, developed a new body style for an electric guitar. I won’t go into all the details about what makes it so special (yet!) but the two of us decided that the music world needed a fresh perspective on a traditional instrument so we joined forces and launched Gimenez Guitars LLC.

An Ax Long Island Musicians Can Call Their Own

In addition to manufacturing some very cool guitars, our goal is to help grow the Long Island music scene by helping local bands promote themselves and get heard. A large part of the marketing plan for Gimenez Guitars is to engage musicians heavily on social media and work with them for our mutual benefit. We want to help spread the word about new song or album releases and upcoming shows to give bands even more exposure and hopefully drive more fans their way. Because let’s face it, if the musicians succeed, so do we. It’s easy for any new brand, be it a band or a guitar company, to get lost in all the noise. With so much saturation on every level we all need an edge to rise to the top and get noticed. Gimenez Guitars will strive to be that edge.

Gimenez Guitars LLC

In the coming months we’ll be inviting Long Island guitarists to play our equipment at gigs, in the studio, in their garage… for free! Test it out and give us feedback. In exchange, we’ll post testimonials, photos and videos of those musicians on our website and all over social media. It’ll be a win/win.

Keep an Eye on the New GG Website

Needless to say, development has already begun on the new website for Gimenez Guitars. Once again, I’ll be trying new things and pushing the web design envelope as I build a sexy, cutting edge site that guitarists everywhere will appreciate. I encourage you to visit it and watch it evolve – even if you can’t play guitar. And if you see something cool that you’d like me to incorporate into your site be sure to let me know.
