A Commitment to Long Island Businesses. And Musicians!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

As 2015 gets rolling, I just want to take a moment to talk about keeping it local. As a company, Electric Bricks doesn’t use too many other service companies. Obviously we use web hosting, email and domain services. But for value and performance reasons we’ve opted to use large, national companies for these. On the other hand, Gimenez Guitars, a new company I recently started with a long-time friend of mine, Dan Gimenez, is a bit different. Gimenez Guitars is a manufacturing company. And as a local manufacturer we are looking very hard to utilize other local businesses as often as possible. As I’m sure many of you know, it isn’t always easy to find what you need on Long Island. But we are doing our best to find service and material suppliers here at home rather than in other states.

Calling All Long Island Musicians!

Another large aspect of our commitment to Long Island will be our promotion of local Long Island musicians and venues. We understand the connection all local businesses share. As one of us grows, all of us can grow. The way we see it, if we help local bands and clubs get noticed and grow then it’s only logical that we should grow along with them as we get exposure alongside them. And vice-versa. So Gimenez Guitars has been actively supporting bands, bars and clubs all over Long Island on our social media channels and will soon be doing so on our website.

That being said, it would be shortsighted of me, as the owner of Electric Bricks, to not do what I could to also be a part of that mutual growth. So to show my support to local bands Electric Bricks will now begin offering specially priced web development services geared specifically towards musicians. If you’re a local band or individual musician looking to grow your Internet presence please reach out. Electric Bricks can help you improve your online image as well as streamline your networking efforts with painless social media integration. Let’s see if together we can make some noise!
