Thank You for Your Support in the T2T 5K!

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who supported me in the Tunnel to Towers 5K held on September 29th. It was a beautiful day and I was very happy to take part in (and finish!) such a wonderful event along with an estimated 30,000 other runners and walkers. Thanks to your contributions, my team raised $1,155 and helped push the fundraising total for the event to $1.4 million, beating the event organizers’ goal.

It was a long day, starting with taking the LIRR into the City with my son who waited at the finish while I took a ferry into Brooklyn to the starting line. I met up with my teammates from Q Source at the end under the Freedom Tower where there was a party-like atmosphere as participants of all ages and ability levels passed under the balloon archway that marked the end of the nearly 3.5 mile course.

Once again, thank you for your generous contributions. And feel free to reach out to me if you’re interested in participating in next year’s Tunnel to Towers 5K. We’re always looking for more team members. 😉
