Giving Back the American Way

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Recently, Electric Bricks owner, Keith Paul, volunteered to help complete a project for the Mastic-Shirley Chamber of Commerce to install American flags down the Montauk Highway corridor through Shirley and Mastic. Keith sits on the Board of Directors of the Chamber and has worked for about a year on this project. With the help of East End Sign Design and a Fire Police escort from the Mastic Fire Department, 50 flags went up on April 16th without a hitch and go a long way to beautifying this busy roadway. There is an additional phase planned that will extend the project both east and west to cover even more of the towns.

Year-Round Decorations for Mastic & Shirley

The flags will be hung each year from Memorial Day through September 11th. After that, there are plans to hang holiday banners during the Winter months. Keith plans on staying involved with this and other town decoration projects with the Chamber.
