Supporting the Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Spooky Walk

Reading Time: < 1 minute

For 30 years, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a summer sleep-away camp for children and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities in Center Moriches, has held its annual Spooky Walk to help raise funds for this wonderful organization. This year, Electric Bricks is doing its small part to support Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck by placing a sponsor ad in their 30th Anniversary Spooky Walk Journal.

About Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck

The camp is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit owned by the Moriches Rotary, whose mission is to help children and young adults with both developmental and physical disabilities “achieve equality, dignity and maximum independence” in a safe camping, recreation, and education program.

“We believe all people, regardless of ability level, deserve the chance to unlock life’s opportunities – especially those for social and personal growth. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck nurtures this core belief by providing an unforgettable summer camp experience for individuals and respite care for their families.”

Showing Your Support

This year’s Spooky Walk is being held on October 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for individuals or small businesses looking to help this great cause, but time is running out.

And of course, if you think you’ve got the nerve to make your way through the approximately 10 acres of thrills and chills, know that 100% of the proceeds go to the camp. It takes about 45 minutes to get through the whole Spooky Walk and it’s considered the longest lasting haunted walk on Long Island.
