Electric Bricks LLC is a busy digital marketing firm located in Patchogue, NY and Rockville, MD. We are looking to add to our team of WordPress website developers. Ideal candidates will come ready to produce, be eager to learn, grow and take on new responsibilities, and will show up each day with a “can do” attitude. They will also subscribe to the thinking that the client always comes first!
To be considered for this position, candidates must be fluent in HTML/CSS and Bootstrap, be very strong in current versions of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver (Illustrator is also helpful), and have a good working knowledge of PHP and MySQL. You must be able to build (code) a WordPress theme from concept to completion without using a pre-built theme. Custom theme construction and experience with child themes are a must. A good working knowledge of popular plugins, such as WPBakery Page Builder, Slider Revolution, UberMenu, WooCommerce, Toolset Types, and others will also be necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Create error-free WordPress themes using current HTML/PHP/CSS best practices
- Utilize Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks
- Clearly comment code to aid in team collaboration
- Will be expected to attend video meetings at various points in a project to collaborate and review with other team members and clients
- Will be expected to respond to calls/emails during business hours in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of WordPress theme/child theme development/coding
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and FTP applications
- Expert-level understanding of HTML and CSS
- Solid understanding of PHP and MySQL
- Expert-level understanding of Bootstrap
- Experience creating/modifying graphic elements in Photoshop
- JavaScript/jQuery experience a plus
